Mobile broadband is perfect if you need the internet on the go whilst you are out and about. The broadband network covers 85% of the population in the UK. 1GB Tariff – You Can:

 Send seven hundred emails
 Download thirty videos ( two minute videos)
 Surf the internet for thirty hours.

3GB Tariff – You Can:
 Download two hundred music tracks
 Send two thousand emails
 Download one hundred videos ( two minute videos)
 Surf the internet for one hundred hours.

There is a deal to suit everybody. Virgin offer:
 A free USB Modem on a 18 month contract
 If you are an existing customer or you buy a bundle, you will receive 20% off.
 Short term contracts are also available.

 What happens if there isn’t coverage where I live?
You will receive a refund under the 28 day customer satisfaction guarantee (minus any data purchased.) Virgin will send you a pre paid package to send back the equipment.

 Is it available everywhere?
The network covers 85% of the UK through Virgin’s 3G mobile phone network.

 Can I use it ASAP?
Yes, it is very simple. You just need to plug the dongle into your laptop and then install the software. Once this is complete you are ready to go.

 If I use up all my allowance, what happens?
If you find yourself in a situation where you have used up all of your monthly allowance, then you will only pay £1.46/Mb for each additional GB of usage. You can keep tabs on this online to make sure you don’t overuse.

 Is there are difference between fibre optic and mobile broadband?
Fibre optic broadband is faster than mobile broadband, which means that it is not suitable for downloading a large amount of information such as a film. However, it’s great if you need to get access to the internet away from home and for instance check your email, Twitter/Facebook account or just for browsing.
